About Us
The Dawes Arboretum is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching lives through the conservation of trees, nature and history.
The Dawes Arboretum was founded in 1929 and now has collections that include over 5300 different types of plants (taxa) with more than 15,400 plants on grounds.
The Dawes Arboretum has grown from 293 acres to nearly 2,000 today. The Arboretum has nearly 14 miles of trails, an auto tour and year round gift shop.
