The Kidney Walk is not just about kidney disease. It’s about people. It's about the patients, families, and people at risk. It's about individuals walking to help improve and extend people's lives. It's about people from across the country raising vital funds and helping the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) expand the public conversation from kidney disease to kidney health. Kidney Walks are a vital source of support as we provide real-time assistance for those in need. 80 cents of every dollar donated goes to research, patient services, professional education, public health education and community services.
We ensure that 30 million Americans living with chronic kidney disease get diagnosed, treated and supported early. We provide the public, patients, and healthcare professionals with tools to promote kidney health. We advocate for change on Capitol Hill and support life-saving research. To learn more about our work, visit kidney.org. The time is NOW and the person is YOU! Be a part of a community of 85,000 individuals at nearly 100 Kidney Walks who share a determination to end kidney disease. Join us today!
