New Albany Symphony Sensory-Friendly Series - Shhh It's a Surprise!
It’s the 100th Birthday of African American composer George Walker! Join us for a surprise party featuring one of his most famous works, Lyric for Strings, Haydn’s Surprise Symphony and our fabulous student concerto winners. Our sensory friendly performances are a great introduction to the orchestral repertoire in a forgiving environment. Anyone is welcome to attend but these concerts are designed specifically for those on the autism spectrum, young families, and our friends in the dementia/Alzheimer’s communities.
